I’m Josh Laird, a creative based in Pittsburgh, PA with a passion for storytelling through media. I specialize in photography, videography, graphic design, and digital communication — using each as a tool to bring ideas to life and connect with people in meaningful ways. I’ve always been drawn to the power of visuals and the way they can inspire, inform, and impact communities. Whether I’m behind the camera, editing a project, or designing for a brand, my goal is to create content that’s both intentional and impactful.

During my time at Eden Christian Academy, my exposure to communication was limited early on, aside from helping with the morning announcements. It wasn’t until my junior year that I really discovered a passion for media and realized how much more I wanted to explore. That spark led me to dive deeper into communication and pursue it as a future career path.
At Waynesburg University, I’ve been able to fully step into the world of communication and grow in my skills and creativity. I’ve been involved with the Waynesburg University Sports Network (WUSN), WCYJ-FM, the Yellow Jacket newspaper, and The Daily Bread Radio Show — each giving me hands-on experience in different areas of media. Through these opportunities, I’ve learned how to tell stories that matter, work as part of a team, and use my creativity to make an impact.
